Cherish Life Queensland is a non-denominational, non-party political pro-life organisation that believes in the intrinsic value of human life from conception until natural death. We resolve to communicate the value of human life both born and unborn to others by peaceful creative ways and to compassionately care for women who are pregnant or have had an abortion.
Specific anti-abortion activities:
- Educating young people about their worth and value so they make healthy wise decisions that lead to happiness and hope instead of the heartache of abortion.
- Rally For Life held each February in Brisbane, Qld.
- Cherish Life Conference held each June in Parliament House, Brisbane.
- Lobbying government to not liberalise or legalise abortion.
- Activate our members to be pro-active leading up to, and at, election time by talking to their family, friends and work colleagues about how to vote ‘pro-life’.
- Encourage our members to actively help pro-life member and candidates during the election campaign and on election day.
