The National Day of Prayer and Fasting, and 40 Days for Life are excited to announce that David Bereit, founder of '40 Days for Life', will be in Australia from August 23 until September 3, 2012 (see tour dates below).
David Bereit serves as director of 40 Days for Life, a groundbreaking pro-life initiative that has mobilised more than half a million people in 440 cities, across all 50 American states and fourteen countries over the last five years.
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign working to end abortion through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigils outside abortion facilities, and grassroots outreach and education in local communities.
40 Days for Life has seen:
*5,928 children have been saved from abortion
*69 abortion workers have had conversions and left the abortion industry
*23 abortion centres have gone out of business
David has featured extensively on American TV, print and radio. David is married to his best friend Margaret, and they reside in Virginia USA with their two children, Claire and Patrick.
David is coming to Australia with his family to share the story of 40 Days For Life and promote a Life Breakthru in 2013, through the National Day of Prayer and Fasting (Feb 10, 2013) and the 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting (February 13 – March 24).
David will also share the miracle of prayer behind the conversion of former Planned Parenthood's 'Employee of the year' Abby Johnson, who has become a prolife activist. He will share how prayer and fasting changes mindsets - the majority of Americans now are pro life. This is a miracle of answered prayer. God can do the same in Australia!
